Madeline Kate Kann is a director known for her bold eye and technical brain, which she honed through a successful career as a cinematographer. She has directed stars like Pamela Anderson, Megan Thee Stallion, and Chloe Bailey. Most recently, she directed a commercial for Microsoft Copilot x Kristin Cavillari. And before that, a spot for Chipotle x Juju Watkins and the USC Women’s Basketball team.
She was the alternating Director of Photography for Season 2 of the acclaimed Starz/Lionsgate series P-Valley, she has DPed five feature films including So Cold The River, and she shoots high-profile commercial work for brands such as NFL, Adidas, Nike, Instacart, Facebook, Chase Bank, Botox, Allergan, Hulu, Kohl’s, Verizon, New Balance, and Amazon. As a lover of storytelling, she takes a thoughtful and expressive approach to create a visual language that’s unique to each individual project.
She is a Local 600 cinematographer and on the roster at Artistry Agency.
She is a freelance commercial director. For music videos, she is on Dreambear’s roster where she is repped by Hart Represents.
